Get involved
Join the community of young people committed to understanding and transforming the systems that shape our world.
There are several ways to engage with The 50 Percent and become part of a global community working to advance meaningful youth participation.
OUR HUBS
If you’d like to get involved with in-person activities , The 50 Percent works through local and regional hubs. We currently have spaces in:
These are spaces for collaboration, learning and collective action. Hubs bring together young people, practitioners and partners to exchange knowledge, develop initiatives and strengthen youth participation in decision-making processes at local, national and global levels.
By taking part in a hub, participants can connect with peers, contribute to ongoing programmes and help shape locally rooted responses to shared challenges.
THE MONTHLY WRAP
A space to listen, reflect and build together.
The monthly wrap is a dedicated monthly call that brings the 50 Percent community together to:
- Engage with pressing youth issues alongside young experts;
- Share updates and insights from across our global network;
- Reflect collectively on emerging challenges and opportunities;
- Co-design projects and explore new initiatives.
When: The last Friday of each month at 13:00 CET (time to be confirmed).

THE ART OF HOPING
What does hope look or feel like to you? This is a call for artists from all around the globe!
The Fifth Element is looking for art that responds to the theme of hope. Think about art that imagines how the systems we live in could change for a fairer, more regenerative future. Work that portrays what hope means to you, what makes you feel hopeful…
They welcome everything from quiet, personal expressions of hope to bold visions of systemic change.
Selected pieces will be shared in an online exhibition and a curated selection will be displayed at the in-person Club of Rome conference “No Limits to Hope: Sense-making for alternative futures.”
Submission deadline: 30 September 2026
